Project Kindred

Project Kindred is a youth development program dedicated to disrupting the cycle of segregation by uniting and empowering diverse young leaders through transformative experiences.

We provide countless opportunities to unite Milwaukee’s young people and lead them to common ground, foster positive peer relationships, and develop the skills and values necessary to become empowered future leaders — building diverse, equitable, loving communities for the next generation.

Jacarrie Kicks for Kids

Jacarrie Kicks for Kids works with Milwaukee youth starting as young as pre-school and stays with them through post-secondary education, providing academic support, enrichment programs, and summer day camp.

Programs include “Summer Scholars,” Community Events, Continuous Mentoring, and Postsecondary Education Scholarships

Unity in Hope

Unity in Hope School System Inc. was founded by Allen Ruppel and Dr. Amir Gulzar in 2019 to assist families living under challenging conditions in Islamabad. The schools provide a non-denominational Christian education, clean water, hot nutritious meals, uniforms, and backpacks at no cost. The original campus includes a community center for community usage with many programs and services that promote self-sufficiency and long-term economic development.

Our Method

Personal Growth.

We develop leadership skills, values, and cultural competence through immersive programming alongside adult leaders. Our values are modeled and imbued in all programs. Emerging leaders begin to apply these values and skills in their everyday lives.

Application.

Participants are empowered to take leadership roles throughout all aspects of programming, providing countless opportunities to begin to apply new ideas, values, and skills under the guidance of caring, culturally competent role models. All experiences are intentionally processed to ensure maximum benefit.

Impact.

A cohort of racially and economically diverse, culturally competent, empowered leaders are unleashed into their communities with the skills, values, and relationships necessary to disrupt oppression and create justice, equality, and dignity for all.
